Veterans Mental Health Issues on Colorado Matters
Colorado Matters, a Colorado Public Radio program, recently interviewed Doyle Forrestal, CBHC Director of Public Policy, and others involved in our mental health services for veterans program. State and national attention is increasingly being directed towards the mental health needs of US soldiers and their families. This report was followed by a discussion with Colorado First Lady, Jeannie Ritter, about mental health issues.

Counties Aim to Reduce Number of Mentally Ill in Jail
On Friday, July 25, the Colorado Public Radio show, Colorado Matters, aired a piece discussing how area counties are working to reduce the amount of mentally ill individuals in the jail system. " A Metro Denver Task Force finds reducing the numbers of mentally ill in jail could cut the jail population in half - and save money.
